THE COMPANY
- Gelencser has a turnover of about 1.5 million euros.
- The investment for the construction of the Museum of the Chocolate reached
1 million euros.
- Fifteen employees work in Vendée for the production of chocolate, and 3 people work in the boutique.
- The average basket of the customers aged between 35 and 40 years old ,amounts to 10 euros. For the tourists, the budget is lower , around 5 euros.
A PRODUCTS
Gelencser has a very varied range of products. The production is mainly composed of chocolate confection. The company creates pastries, sweets, ice creams, macaroons and coffee.
The favorite product of the costumers is the “Croquant”.
They try to stay innovative in their production, creating new products, especially for celebrations. They released new Yule logs, such as their Yule log called "icy sweetness coated with a fruity zest”, and also new king cakes, like the “cake with fried pineapple and vanilla from Madagascar”.
